Ride Details:
We love this package. Imagine learning to ride a horse with top quality instructors, developing your riding skills on controlled trails while taking in stunning views of the North Antrim hills. You will build up your skills over the course of the first few days to get yourself ready for the most epic of adventures where we can put our new found skills to the test. We incorporate half days of riding with sightseeing in the afternoons so that you really do get the best of what the North Coast has to offer.
Day one is arrival day where you will get a chance to settle into your coastal accommodation. On day two, you will be acquainted with the McKinley family and members of the Bespoke Equestrian Ireland team before meeting your horse and beginning your riding adventure. Spend the rest of the morning in the arenas and out on the trails to perfect the basics before joining your tour driver for lunch and a visit to the Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle. Day three begins with more lessons and progression onto the next stage of riding. Ride further into the North Antrim hills as your confidence and ability grows and enjoy a high quality afternoon tea lunch experience in our mountain side cabin. The afternoon will be spent on a guided tour of the famed Glens of Antrim.
The big finale happens on day four. Depending on your level of ability and progress over the previous days, you may be given the opportunity to enjoy the freedom, fun and buzz of riding across one of our most beautiful beaches. If you are not quite ready for a beach ride, we will take you to another stunning location where we will put our new found skills to the test as we ride through the charming glens and ancient roads surrounding Watertop Farm and the Vanishing lakes.
With this exhilarating morning completed, enjoy a leisurely boat tour to Rathlin Island in the afternoon.
It makes for an ideal way to experience the iconic Causeway Coast and offers a taste of everything that makes Ireland’s north coast world famous: rugged coastlines, verdant countryside, enchanting forests, mountainous trails, tours to our main attractions and quality Irish hospitality!

Our driver will pick you up at your accomodation and take you to our stables.
Whether you have a little horse riding experience or no horse riding experience at all, on arrival at our stables, after being greeted and some hospitality, your riding instructor will introduce you to a tried and tested schoolmaster that will be your horse for the next 3 days. Under the guidance of your personal instructor, you will start of with basic instruction in the arenas and when ready, will head out on to the riding trails to put your new found skills into practice. Under expert instruction you will soon see a remarkable increase in your skill levels that will improve with time in the saddle riding on a variety of terrain. Not only will you be learning how to ride, the scenery in stunning and with views over 5 counties, you will not forget this day in a hurry.
Your first day will finish at lunchtime with a great sense of accomplishment when your tour guide will pick you up, take you for lunch before taking you for an afternoon’s sightseeing on the spectacular North Coast. You will visit iconic sights and some of the well known Game of Thrones locations such as Dunluce Castle, the Giants Causeway, Ballintoy Harbour and you have the option to add on a visit to Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. On route you will also see the beautiful Whitepark Bay Beach where you may be riding on day three, before returning to your accommodation.
Overnight: County Antrim Coast

You will be picked up and taken to our stables for another morning of expert tuition, building you up to the challenge of riding on Balintoy Beach or the Old Coach Road to the Vannishing lakes. The lessons will help us progress onto the next stage of riding. Ride further into the North Antrim hills as your confidence and ability grows and enjoy a high quality afternoon tea lunch experience in our mountain side cabin, with panoramic views for 60 miles around. Use the last part of time in the arena to put the finishing touches to your preparation as the last day comes closer.
After riding you will be again taken for another afternoon of sightseeing to the beautiful Nine Glens of Antrim, visiting places such as Glenarrife Waterfalls, Murlough Bay and more Game of Thrones film locations chosen for their dramatic settings. Tonight, enjoy the time in the local town and be sure to get a good rest to be ready for what tomorrow has in store!
Overnight: County Antrim Coast

It’s the last day!
Today’s location will depend on your riding level and progression made over the last 2 days.
If you have had some experience before and have progressed to the appropriate level, we will be heading to Whitepark bay. WhitePark Bay is located near the picturesque village of Ballintoy. With sand so pure it shines for miles, it’s the perfect backdrop for a morning out on the beach! If you’re lucky the famous “Sunbathing Cattle ” will be on the beach basking in the sun’s warmth. Historically, Ballintoy beach was mainly associated with salmon fishing. Like most places along the north coast, the views from here are spectacular and offer some amazing photo opportunities.
Here you will be supported by our guides who will look after you and help you to put what you have learned into practice. Enjoy the unbelievable feeling of accomplishment, the feeling of the wind in your hair, the noise of the waves and the smell of the sea air as you make your way across the golden sands. Make sure to get the perfect photos and videos of your time with the help from your instructor so that these memories will always be clear in your mind!
If the beach ride is a little bit above your level, don’t worry. We have another exceptional morning of riding planned where you will put your skills to the test in a quintessential Irish setting.
Your day begins at Watertop Farm, which was once a bustling ceili house. Trot and canter your way through this unique landscape on the edge of the Glens of Antrim, before we head onwards towards the coast.
You will soon be exploring the meandering trails through the beautiful countryside, bordering the remarkable Glens of Antrim. We will ride close to the resplendent Ballypatrick forest, a woodland renowned for being home to a wide variety of local wildlife. If we are lucky, we might spot some of the elusive Red Deer which make the forest their home. They, and their fawns, are known to venture out of the safety of the treelines and we may catch a glimpse of these cautious creatures as they wander the area. We are likely to see some birds of prey circling above us, as they patrol the skies looking for their next meal.
This afternoon, after lunch, you will make a sea voyage to visit a tranquil, idyllic Irish Island of Rathlin. Hosting one of Ireland’s greatest bird sanctuaries, the chance to spot killer whales or dolphins off the coast, beautiful idyllic walking trails, shipwreck diving, iconic lighthouses, a vibrant history and colourful arts scene, Rathlin is a haven for those with all manner of interests. Enjoy a day in this unique location, meeting the locals in its quaint Irish village with a single pub and shop.
